I've been busy the last few months. First off I am now a Licensed FAA Commercial UAS Drone Pilot. I went back to school (briefly) took two courses at HVCC: Drones Intro to sUAS / Learn to Fly & Drones Remote Pilot FAA Knowledge Test Prep. Both of the courses were very informative and I learned a great deal. Once those courses were over I went on to take—and pass—the FAA Part 107 aeronautical knowledge exam.
Then there was my next step. I decided to form a small business. I began my very 1st startup: Droneopolis, LLC, a NY-based drone company that offers aerial & ground photography solutions. The process to get a small company up and running is not easy and it is still ongoing. I am also in the process of applying for numerous permits so I can operate in restricted airspace locations as well as several local and state locations I'm interested in flying at.
Here is the company logo I purchased/designed. The graphic is a stock image. Despite that I still worked for weeks on this, adding the type, deciding on the colors, and making various different versions with a pin, without, with type, without, etc. You can see all my other early designs here.
I'm not sure when I'll get back here, specifically, and continue blogging about games and such. I'm sure it will be relatively soon. I did back this awesome Kickstarter recently: Elder Dice: Unspeakable Tomes - Cthulhu Mythos Themed Dice. You should check it out, and if you can, back it.
